Here are the answers to some of the most asked questions I have had over the years in regards to getting help with purchasing art online. I hope this can help you if you are currently contemplating purchasing art for your home.

YOU JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING DECENT ART FOR YOUR WALLS.
Online can be a big daunting place when searching for art. It can be confusing and overwhelming when searching. My website is simple and easy to navigate and you can read my about page, see all my available artworks in one place, see my sold artworks, contact me with questions, sign up to my email newsletter to get all the latest news. Perhaps just follow me on Instagram/Facebook/Youtube to watch me at work. This should help ease all that ‘chatter’ and overwhelm on google and help keep it simple for you.

YOU NEED HELP CHOOSING THE RIGHT COLOURED ARTWORKS TO MATCH THE REST OF YOUR DECOR.
Ohh I love colour, as you will see with my artworks. I studied colour theory at University and have a good understanding of what works and what doesn’t. I am more than happy to chat and discuss your colour options and concerns before purchasing. Your best option is to send me an email ambergittinsart@gmail.com and even better if you can send through some photos of colours and the room it will be going in, so we can get a good idea of what will work.

YOU FEEL GUILTY EVERY TIME YOU WALK INTO YOUR BEDROOM AND STARE AT THE BLANK UGLY WALL ABOVE YOUR BED BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START.
Oh I get this one, as I myself spent about a year with a big ugly white wall above my bed, the guilt was there until the day I popped my gorgeous artwork above my bed (and it literally took me 10 minutes max to hang this). I do have a range of large paintings that are the perfect size for above beds (longer and slightly shorter in height). No more wondering and guessing about sizes. If you need a certain colour palette to match your doona/quilt cover I am happy to chat colours and help you with your size options for your bedroom.

YOU GET ANXIOUS AT THE THOUGHT OF TRYING TO FIND THE PERFECT ARTWORK FOR YOUR LIVING ROOM.
Your living room is the room you probably spend the most time and where visitors congregate, so you want this artwork to shine. I am here to chat and help you with your decisions. I do have many of my collectors send me photos of the room that they want the artwork in and then we discuss colour and size options to suit. I can help take the stress out of the decisions for you.

YOU HAVE A CERTAIN SIZE THAT YOU ARE AFTER AND YOU JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANYTHING NICE THAT WILL WORK IN THAT SPACE.
You see the artwork, love it, then notice the size is not quite right.. bummer!! Don’t worry I can help you with a commission painting to get your exact size to fit your space. Big or small, just send me a message and we can chat.

I CAN'T AFFORD AN ORIGINAL PAINTING JUST YET, DO YOU SELL PRINTS?
Yes, I sure do sell fine art prints and these are exclusively available via my website. I currently have more than 70 to choose from in different sizes, prices starting from $140 AUD. I offer paper prints and canvas prints and also have a framing option for the canvas prints for Australian customers. 

CAN YOU SEND THE ARTWORK TO MY FRIEND AS A SURPRISE GIFT?
Yes I have done this numerous times over the years. Just let me know if you need anything written as a special note to them. This is such a lovely thoughtful way to show someone you really do care.

YOU'RE WORRIED YOU WILL GET SCAMMED ONLINE. ARE YOU A LEGIT ARTIST?
Yes I am a hard working, honest artist who loves what she does. A little background info about me... I am a full time international selling artist with over 8 years experience, a top selling Australian artist with Australia’s number one online gallery - Bluethumb Art Gallery, 1000s of painting sales worldwide and 100% care for your paintings. WHAT IF I WANT THE ARTWORK FRAMED, DO YOU OFFER THIS?
For Australian customers I offer framing on both original art and fine art prints. You also have the choice of 4 different colours for your frame. Framing does add extra time to get your order and please check the listing time frames for how long that will take. At this stage with all international orders, I cannot offer stretching/framing and all artworks will be sent rolled in a sturdy tube.

DO YOU DO COMMISSIONS?
Yes I certainly do, I have completed hundreds of commissions for happy collectors all around the world over the years. With no pressure to go ahead, I will just send you the PDF for you to read at your own leisure.

YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT SHIPPING LARGE ARTWORKS TO YOUR HOME, IS IT SAFE?
I have been successfully shipping artworks for over 8 years and use trusted couriers and postal services such as TNT, Global Express, DHL and Australia Post. It is extremely safe and my local couriers know me well. On some occasions if the artwork is being framed/stretched then it will be delivered direct to your door from my professional framers who either personally deliver or use their own trusted couriers. You will get tracking links to follow your artworks journey to your home. These artworks are also fully insured whilst in transit. 

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING ART?
This can depend, it is best to check the actually listing at checkout. I do offer FREE shipping on all artworks if you sign up to my email mailing list. You will find the email sign up form on my Contact Page on my website. I will then email you a code you can use at checkout, to get free shipping on your purchase.

I LIKE THIS AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS PAINTINGS BUT I AM IN CALIFORNIA, DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?
I have a lot of collectors in Singapore and the USA and yes I do ship all over the world. Your paintings and fine art prints will be send rolled in a sturdy tube. This is for their safety and also to help keep shipping costs down. You will need to stretch/frame your artworks at your own expense and time once you receive them. Also any taxes and duties are the responsibility of the buyer for their own country.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
This can vary, depending on a few factors. Depending on where you are in the world. Depending if it is being stretched or framed, is it a print or an original?. You are best to check the individual product listing on my website and that will tell you the shipping times.

WHAT IF THE ARTWORK IS DAMAGED IN SHIPPING?
This is a very rare occurrence as I pack my artworks with a lot of love, a lot of bubble wrap and very sturdy boxes/tubes. In the unlikely event that your artwork is damaged during shipping, then you must please contact me within 24 hours of receiving this artwork with photographs of the damaged goods so we can discuss further.

ARE THERE PAYMENT PLANS TO PURCHASE YOUR ART?
Yes, I do offer PayPal and Afterpay as payment plans for you.
