Simple ways to style art in your home

There is no need to be overwhelmed when adding wall art to your home decorating. The trick is to keep it simple and the main thing is to love what you buy.

I want to give you an example of how easy it can be, with three different ways to style your living room interiors with the same art.

Scenario 1: Neutral and Natural Interior

If you like a quite neutral natural home then this artwork could work in with your decor. This artwork adds a calming modern bohemian style to your room without being overpowering. Finish the artwork off with a neutral white frame and keep your accessories in the natural colour range of soft pastel shades of greens, beige, creams and light blues. Add plants and fresh flowers picked from your garden for an affordable way of helping bring the tranquility of nature into your living room.

Scenario 2: Classic Traditional Interior

For those who have a more classic, traditional interior this artwork can be a lovely addition that adds some warmth into the room. Adding a contemporary black frame around your artwork will help link it back to the European inspired style. Choosing the cooler grey tones for your main 'more expensive' furniture pieces will maintain that they wont get dated and out of 'style' in a few years time. For the accessories you can have fun and add pops of gold and marble to help keep with that timeless style.
Scenario 3: Colourful Interior

For the colour lovers, basically anything can work in an eclectic style room - with a little tweaking. Just be sure to keep colour tones similar and a great tip is to pick out one particular colour and use this throughout the decorating. Adding a nice natural oak frame around the artwork keeps it neutral and will go with all your lovely accessories. You can add layers, patterns and prints to your styling and lots of fun accessories. These types of interiors generally have a touch of things that your love and that you may have picked up on your travels or sentimental items. It is a room that will definitely bring happiness and many fond memories.
