Testimonials - Why I love them!
The best part about being a full time artist is when I get a message back from the collector saying just how much they love their artwork. If I get a photo as well that is the bees knees for me!
Many times an artwork will leave my studio and will go on to its forever home and that will be the last I ever see of it. I always wonder where it is hanging, what is the decor that surrounds it, basically... does it look good and most importantly is the art collector happy with their choice!
I must admit more and more collectors are now sending me lovely messages and I really do appreciate them taking the time to photograph their art in their home and email me a quick message.
Creating my paintings is almost like having a relationship with someone as we spend a lot of time together, listening to podcasts, listening to me do all the talking, we grow and develop together, then it will be put safely and lovingly in my art storage room until it gets sold. Then suddenly it is out of my life forever, with me wondering all sorts of things... so it is like getting that final closure on this beautiful part of my life (but in a very good way).
Running a small business can be a lot of hard work and many hours behind the scenes on the computer as well. I am basically all things in one person, admin, painter, social media expert, web designer, photographer, courier, packaging guru, financial advisor, the list goes on.... So to get that confirmation that all my hard work and love for this little art business has made an impact on you is so worth it.
I will always love to hear from you and appreciate your lovely comments and photos. It makes me so motivated in continuing to be an artist and to create such love and happiness for your homes. I think every home needs lots and lots of colourful art to fill the walls and tell a story!
