COLOURS FROM THE GARDEN COLLECTION

Colourful flower abstract art print hanging in a modern living room

Have you ever stopped and really looked at your surroundings when you are out in nature... taking in the way the light flickers though the leaves, the way colours compliment each other, watching the bees buzzing in the flowers. I do all the time. It is those little moments of stopping and seeing what is right in front of me, where I can be still and appreciate this beautiful landscape.

This collection is all about my love of being out in nature, really seeing the colours around me and sharing these moments in nature with you. Bringing these beautiful moments into our homes and having them evoke memories and happiness.

Bringing the colours and elements of nature into my home is something I love to do. I do love what they call an 'eclectic home', where there is so much to see and so many colours in one room. I love rooms that have texture, colour and organic materials that help bring the outside in. Oh don't get me wrong, not so much a cluttered mess (as I am a neat freak and that would stress me out) but more so, just enough to show who you really are with all these beautiful unique objects throughout your home. Where you can feel that persons personality, what they love and their inner emotions just by looking at their home styling.

I like to think my own home is unique and eclectic, full of colour, natural textures, art and quirky trinkets. I always find something in my travels that is a happy reminder of that holiday. Some of the past things I have bought are vases, large quirky coffee mugs, artworks, jewellery, clothing, ceramic bowls, plants... I come home and proudly place them somewhere special (or wear them) and they make me smile every time I see them.

Bringing lots of colour into my home also gives it a unique story to tell. Colours evoke feelings and emotions by just looking at them. I love how colours can change the feel of a room, for example red tones can create a warmth and coziness to a room. Blues can give a cooler feel and a sense of being close to water, which can be so calming. Green can make us feel like we are closer to nature and can be felt as nurturing and growth. My home is a kaleidoscope of colour - with very strategically placed items, so that it doesn't clash or get messy in each area.

I hope you get more opportunities in your life to slow down and explore this beautiful landscape and take more time in nature. Feel the colours that you are drawn to and bring them into your life more. I am forever grateful for your support and allowing me to be able to explore and create a world that can bring joy into your world as well. I hope that this resonates with you in some way. Warm hugs Amber x
